This part of the site is intended to be used to post recollections about family in east Glasgow or make brief enquiries about family history.

The following conditions have to apply for inclusion in this section;

The family has to have an east Glasgow connection.  It is not possible for me to cover the whole of the city.
Please provide a main/secondary name of the family and the relevant area of east Glasgow if available.
Material cannot be too long; if you have large amounts, you might want to think about providing a summary plus a web link to further information.
If you have them, you can send me a few photographs for inclusion.
As I won't be able to pass information backwards and forwards, please provide an e-mail address for inclusion on the allocated page.  If you do so, please bear in mind that the Internet is routinely trawled for active e-mail addresses which can result in an increase in junk mail.

If you have any enquiries concerning the above, don't hesitate to contact me at the e-mail address below.

NOTES: Updated for 1st July, 2010.

The location of this site may vary with the availability of web space.  However, it can always be reached by searching for the domain names;

www.EastGlasgowHistory.com or www.EastGlasgowHistory.co.uk or www.GordonAdams.com or www.GlasgowHistory.co.uk

Any comments you wish to make about this site can be sent to

EastGlasgowHistory at Hotmail.com

Replace the word "at" with the ampisand symbol "@" and remove spaces between the words.  I have started to use this to cut down on the amount of junk mail that arises from website trawlers which gather e-mail addresses.

Please indicate "East Glasgow History" as the subject of your e-mail to avoid exclusion as spam.

Users of AOL please note that I seem to have difficulty in replying to your enquiries.  If you make your enquiry through the Comments section I am can respond more easily, as can others.
